Transforming Spaces at Te Puna School

Te Puna School embarked on a transformative journey with Portacom, pioneering the weathertight funding initiative for modular projects. This collaboration marked the inception of a new era for the school's infrastructure.

The site posed unique challenges, demanding a strategic approach to fit modular buildings into the confined space left after the demolition of three existing structures. A meticulous site plan, crafted by an external architect, laid the foundation for the project.

Portacom's modular expertise came to the forefront as we seamlessly integrated a single and a double teaching space around an existing sand pit. The modules perfectly matched the deck height, demonstrating our commitment to precision and flexibility.

Despite the constraints, the project was delivered ahead of schedule. The swift execution ensured that the children commenced the academic year of 2024 in their brand-new classrooms, fostering an optimal learning environment.

The project involved the demolition and reinstatement of the "dental van" pad, showcasing our comprehensive approach to site development and enhancement.

This collaboration not only transformed physical spaces but also set a benchmark for future modular initiatives. Te Puna School's success story stands as a testament to Portacom's commitment to innovation, efficiency, and exceeding client expectations.
